The Code of Ethics comprises 17 articles that guarantee performance and professionalism by all who become REALTORS®. The term REALTOR® has come to indicate competency, fairness, and high integrity. Enforcement of the Code reflects the REALTORS®’ commitment to safeguarding the public and preserving a competitive marketplace. The Caldwell Board of REALTORS® proffers its members and consumers numerous opportunities to resolve issues of potentially unethical conduct. Claims of unethical conduct may be resolved through a full due process hearing or via the employment of the ombudsman, mediation, or citation programs.
